Underlay

Stitches sewn first, under the fill, to steady the fabric. Full = contour plus a sparse cross-hatch.

Shapes are grown by this much because thread pulls them in as it sews.
Satin for strokes up to6.0 mm
Strokes and lettering narrower than this are sewn as satin (zigzag columns) instead of fill, the way a digitizer would. 0 turns it off.

Sizes are the usual embroidery fields for each spot; a tall design is scaled down to fit the height. Custom takes any width up to 14 in, with an optional height cap. Lettering under 6 mm tall gets a warning because thin letters don't sew crisply. Run time assumes 700 stitches a minute; each thread change adds a minute or two.
